Sure. Thursday morning works for me.

Stay in the flow

More conversation.
Less translation work.

Copying a message into another tool breaks the moment. Simplifying what you mean before you say it removes the jokes, detail, and personality that make collaboration worth having.

Veranda keeps the original message and its translation together in Slack, so the team can keep moving without turning every thought into a translation task.

One reaction is all it takes

A language flag is easy to add from Slack on desktop or mobile.

Shared context

The translation stays in the message thread where teammates can find it.

10 supported languages

English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Tagalog, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Thai, and Korean.

Made for the moment

Translate without leaving Slack.

On Slack mobile, the whole interaction is a familiar reaction. Add the language flag, read the translation in the same thread, and keep going.

Plain-language privacy

Know where your message goes.

When someone requests a translation, Veranda sends that Slack message to a translation provider, then posts the result back to its Slack thread.

02 · TranslateVeranda → Translation provider

Veranda’s application logs are designed to record operational metadata—not message text or full model responses. Translation subprocessors and their current retention terms are disclosed in the Privacy Policy.

What leaves Slack?

The message selected for translation is sent through Veranda to a translation provider. The translation is returned to Slack.

What Slack permissions are required?

Veranda requests permission to post translations, read reactions and the reacted message, provide its workspace command, and verify workspace admins. It does not request members’ email addresses.
